Organization
Medical Research Support Center was established in November 2011.
Previously, large-scale research facilities were individually managed in each Department of the Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University.
Our aim is to improve research efficiency by systematically and centrally managing these facilities and to provide advanced and sustainable technical support to individual researchers and graduate students.
Medical Research Support Center Steering Committee operates nine shared facilities; Division for DNA Sequencing and Bioinformatics, Drug Discovery Center, Division for Mass Spectrometry, Live Imaging Center, Division for Mouse Behavior Analysis, Division for Small Animal MRI, Division of Medicinal Chemistry, Division of Advanced Biomedicine, and Kyoto University Research Center San Diego.
We are promoting research support by sharing research instruments, commissioned analysis (such as DNA sequencing and mass spectrometry), and holding various courses.
