Title: Scaling Up Single Cell Sequencing: A New Era of Biology

Abstract:
Recent advances in single-cell analysis have made it a powerful tool for understanding heterogeneity within tissues and cell populations. Parse Biosciences enables large-scale single-cell RNA sequencing, immune profiling, and CRISPR screens using split-and-pool combinatorial barcoding, without requiring specialized instruments. This technology minimizes ambient RNA contamination, improving the accuracy of rare cell-type detection and utilizes fixation for sample preservation allowing for a more flexible workflow with less batch effects. This seminar will introduce the fundamentals of Parse Biosciences’ platform and its advantages in high-throughput single-cell transcriptomics.
